Presidential Job Description: What it should be.

The President of the United States is an employee of every Legal citizen of the United States and is responsible for representing every one of us. As they all spend so much time campaigning for other politicians, they are only representing one party during their campaigning for all of their buddies. I don’t think that we should be paying $400,000 a year for the leader of our nation (from any party) to represent half or less of the nation while trying to burn the other half of the nation. This philosophy extends into his job as President. He should not be working with the half of Congress that he chooses to work with. As President, he should become partyless upon taking the oath of office and represent the nation, as a whole, in a way that will benefit the majority (population of legal citizens, not monetary or popular (rich or famous) majority).  If the President cannot compromise, then he must be forced to watch nothing but Sesame Street for the rest of his tour in office, where he will learn the basic lessons of life from a childs perspective.

Further, the President should get no more than two weeks per year of vacation, and his family should not have the right to travel on vacation without him or her on taxpayer funded transportation, especially outside of the United States.  A secure car will do (including the required security).  If the President wants to campaign, he must do it on his own time while he is on vacation.  Our current President (Obama) was on television for the first year of his time as President and the better part of the second year, on the road campaigning for the Democrats.  Will he ever get to his office to do the required work of the office that he holds?

Also, the President must listen to the people that he is the leader of and not make decisions based on his own personal philosophy if the majorituy does not want his policies.  It’s We The People Of The United States Of America, not ‘we the people of Mexico, China, the Middle East…’.

In addition, the President will not bow to the leader of any other country unless it is a mutual greeting as in the hand-shake, and then they must bow at the same time.  He will not put down our country when giving speeches to other nations, and his wife will maintain the same courtesy or she will not be allowed to travel to foreign lands on tax payer dollars.
