Voting in 2010

Obama is puting down the Republicans at an alarming rate, the Republicans are returning the favor without much luck, and the people of our nation are affraid that Obama will finish flushing our country down the toilet before his first term in office is over.

If the Republicans gain a majority of Congress during this election, it will be bad news for our nation for another 6 years.

First: Obama has said that if the Republicans shift their thinking to his way (only, not a compromise), then he is willing to work with them.  That’s ‘My way or the highway’ thinking.  Why would the Republicans help Obama to take over our country in a way that would lead to one party (the Obama Party).

Second: if the Republicans gain a majority in Congress, Obama will veto everything that the Republicans put before him.  Even if the Republicans do some compromising.

Third: Obama blame the failure of Congress getting nothing done during the next two years, on the Republicans and the Tea Party.

Fourth: If Obama uses that as a reason why our country is failing, and he claims that he couldn’t do anything with a stagnant Congress (even though his compromise would relieve the situation, which he won’t do), the blacks, Democrats, and non-Bush people will all re-vote Obama back into office for another four years, even if the only change that Obama has made will cost us an enormous fortune.

What we really need is a third party to take enough of the votes to be able to be a tie breaker on either side of the issues.  Then the Democrats and Republicans will neither have the opportunity for total power.  Whether you are Independent, Libertarian, or a Centrist, you need to even the playing field with a third party that knows how to compromise.  It use to take a decade or more for the pendulum to swing as far, one way or the other, as it is now every two years.  Washington DC is ripping our country to shreds, and ‘We the People’ are losing.  Let’s put both of the major parties in their places and take back our country so that we can enjoy the American Dream that they’ve have taken away.
