Everybody wants a free ride in the land of opportunity

Maybe it’s time to implement Welfare Daycare where it is mandatory to look for work if you don’t have a doctors letter stating why you can’t work and when you will be able to work if that is possible. If you qualify for Welfare, you will look for a minimum of three jobs a week plus one extra per child that the taxpayer is paying for. There would be payments to an appointed daycare that the Welfare office could contact regarding your need. If you need it, you should be able to get it. The taxpayers do require that the welfare and employment situations are evaluated and so should the Welfare Daycare (if only politicians cared what their supervisors, the voters, were telling them). Also, you can only get Welfare and Daycare for the children that you already had or you were pregnant with upon applying for Welfare. That would stop the gravy train of ‘have more kids for more benefits’. Those types of people are causing a huge drain on our economy. If they are abusing the system, and they are not using the extra money for the children, they should go to jail for tax fraud, and possibly lose their children permanently. Once they commit fraud, they could never get Welfare again.
Also, apartment buildings that get a tax break for having empty apartments, should be put on a list to place homeless people in those buildings. That would reduce the overbuilding so that they can milk the system for free money by leaving excess apartments empty.
